Once a month, Peggy’s Parties will come to you to celebrate the birthdays of that month.
Ideally, we would throw the party in a common room or space in your facility. We will start with securing a weekend afternoon each month for the birthday celebration. The number of children’s birthdays will vary month to month and for purposes of this example, we will use two children and the party will start at 12pm: Joey and Susie both have April birthdays. Peggy’s Parties volunteers will come for two hours on a weekend afternoon. The two hours will allow for a half hour load in and set up, a one-hour party, and a half hour clean up and load out. The party will celebrate Joey and Susie and the guests of the party will be the other children (with their parent/guardian) that attend your facility.
Below is a mock schedule that can be altered for each month depending on time, theme, and what extras are available. Extras can include but are not limited to, character story time/songs, balloon animals, face paint, bounce house, photo booth, puppet show.

11:30 - Load in/ decorations & set up
Two to four Peggy’s Parties volunteers will arrive with decorations, food, cake, and party supplies. We will set up in a room/space in your facility.
12:00 - Party Begins
Welcome guests, children will create a keepsake craft, which will typically follow the party theme.
12:15 - Party games & songs
Games such as Simon Says, hula hoop toss, and hot potato will be run by the Peggy’s Parties volunteers. Games will be adjusted depending on the age range of the children.
12:30 - Lunch & cupcakes
Volunteers will serve lunch, which will vary depending on what restaurant is donating that month. Following lunch, we will pass out cupcakes. The birthday children will each get a candle in their cupcake and we will all join in, in singing Happy Birthday to them.
12:50 - Dance Party
We will bring a small speaker to play a few songs that the children can dance to. We have fun disco lights to plug in as well as a bubble machine for a fun atmosphere. If the age group is appropriate we can also play a game of limbo.
1:00 - Goodbye! Gift bags/Birthday present
Partygoers will receive a small gift bag on their way out. Gift bags will have a variety of items depending on that month’s donations. The birthday child or children will receive their birthday gift as they depart the party.
1:30 - Clean-up & load out
Volunteers will clean up the party, pack up all supplies, garbage, and load out leaving the room in the condition in which we arrived.
